Bandai brings back the classic RX-78-02 with a fresh HG kit based on its appearance in "Gundam The Origin" to commemorate Gundam's 40th anniversary. This kit offers options to build either the early or mid version of the RX-78-02, providing fans with multiple display possibilities.

The early version of the RX-78-02 features asymmetrical left and right sides, capturing the unique design elements seen in the series. The forearm is equipped with a Gatling gun, and the left and right shoulders showcase the Shoulder Magnum and Vulcan canon, respectively, adding to its distinctive look.

The mid version of the RX-78-02 boasts a symmetrical design, including the shoulders, which feature flat panels instead of weaponry. This version offers a more balanced appearance.

The kit also includes adjustable verniers on the backs of the calves, with a cover that allows you to display or hide the features based on your preference. The toe tips are articulated, adding to the kit's poseability.
