Description
Bandai's Version 1.5 of the RX-78-2 Gundam kit is a significant upgrade, featuring a completely new design and improved proportions. One of the key improvements is the revamped leg mechanism, which addresses the issue of loose joints by providing a one-piece, pre-assembled inner leg mechanism that offers a firm and stable poseability.
The new leg mechanism not only enhances the kit's poseability but also adds a visually appealing inner mechanism when the panels are open or removed for display. In addition to the improved inner frame, the kit includes a variety of weapons such as the beam rifle, bazooka, Gundam Hammer with a plastic chain, a new beam javelin, and beam sabers. As with the initial release, the Core Fighter remains removable for added playability.
